After all my fussing with germinating lupines from seeds, I ended up with one Lupinus albifrons collinus. It's still in a pot so will still need to survive transplanting this Fall. I've still got some Lillium pardinalis sprouts, but they haven't done much more than that! They're still in a pot.

New people

I see a bunch of new names on the EBNPG FB page, but nobody ever writes anything. I still feel like I'm talking to myself.......I'd love to hear from you and find out about your experiences with native plant gardening.

Planting season...

It's a bit early for Fall planting. I made the mistake of stopping by Annie's Annuals and found a bunch of plants that are in bloom now. I NEED natives that bloom late in summer and continue into fall.
Got up early this morning and started planting:
Galvezia speciosa "Island Bush Sanpdragon"
Penstemon palmeri "Scented Penstemon"
Lupinus arboreus "yellow" "Yellow Coastal Bush Lupine"
Erigeron glaucus Seaside Dasy
Lupinus succulentus Arroyo Lupine (it's a very big annual)
Lupinus albifrons "Silver Bush Lupine"
Keckiella cordifolia "Heart Leaved Penstemon and Climbing Penstemon."
Hope they will all be alive and thriving next Spring!
